Another topic closely related to the purchase and sale of property is its financing. We review and assess the terms offered by the bank, paying close attention to the clauses and conditions, and negotiate those that may be considered null and void. Often, issues of abusiveness must later be resolved in court, since the bank refuses to grant financing if all clauses are not fully accepted. The most notable example in this regard has been the so-called “floor clauses.”
